Order Submission & Confirmation

- Placing an order and completing payment constitutes a binding sales contract under U.S. law, with additional compliance obligations for furniture per CPSC regulations.

- For customized products (e.g., custom-upholstered sofas, personalized bean bags), we send a design confirmation email with fabric samples (if applicable), dimensions, and compliance disclaimers within 1 business day. Production begins only after your written approval, and all customized items undergo extra CPSC checks.

- We reserve the right to cancel orders if: inventory is insufficient, pricing errors occur, shipping information is invalid/incomplete, fraudulent activity is suspected, or customization details are unconfirmed for 7+ business days.

- Cancellations within 12 hours of purchase are free. Cancellations after 12 hours (pre-shipment) incur a 5% processing fee. Post-shipment cancellations follow our return policy.

- Cancelled orders are fully refunded within 3 business days (excluding fees). For customized orders cancelled post-production, a 20% fee is deducted to cover materials and compliance testing.

Product Information & Liability

- Product descriptions, specifications (e.g., sofa dimensions, bean bag weight capacity, sofa blanket material), and images are for reference. We ensure all products meet CPSC flammability standards (16 CFR Part 1633 for sofas), lead-free requirements, and non-toxic regulations. Minor variations (e.g., fabric color shades, bean bag filling density) are not defects.

- We are not liable for dissatisfaction from personal preferences (e.g., sofa firmness, bean bag size, sofa blanket texture) or incorrect space measurements. Verify dimensions and consult our team for guidance before purchase.

- We are not responsible for damages/injuries from improper use, care, or assembly (e.g., sofa overloaded beyond weight capacity, bean bag punctured, sofa blanket exposed to open flames). Follow included care and assembly instructions.

- Our products are designed for residential use. Commercial clients must request commercial-grade items—we are not liable for damages from commercial use of residential furniture.

User Obligations

- Provide true, accurate information (custom dimensions, delivery access, contact details). You are responsible for delays, additional costs, or installation issues from incorrect information.

- Do not resell our products commercially without prior written authorization (except authorized retailers with wholesale agreements and compliance certification).

- Comply with U.S. safety laws, including adhering to CPSC flammability warnings, weight limits for sofas/bean bags, and fabric care instructions.

- Refrain from fraudulent activities (e.g., false defect claims, returning used items as new). We reserve the right to refuse service to policy violators.

Intellectual Property Rights

- All website content (product images, descriptions, logos, designs, compliance guides) is protected by U.S. copyright and trademark laws, owned by Cozy Sofa Essentials USA or its licensors.

- You may download content for personal non-commercial use only. Unauthorized copying, modification, or distribution for commercial purposes is prohibited and may result in legal action.

Limitation of Liability

- To the maximum extent permitted by U.S. law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., inconvenience, space planning delays, freight re-delivery costs) if products meet compliance and safety standards.

- Our total liability for direct damages (e.g., defective products causing property damage) does not exceed the purchase price of the affected item, except for willful misconduct or gross negligence in safety compliance.

- We are not liable for delays/failures from force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, CPSC regulatory updates, carrier strikes). Affected customers may choose a refund, exchange, or order modification.
